Development and Evaluation of an Interprofessional Leadership in Healthcare Certificate (GSA 2023)

This CADER research highlights the importance of leadership in interprofessional teams. The development and evaluation of the impact of an Interprofessional Leadership in Healthcare Certificate, developed jointly by Boston University School of Social Work's CADER team and Sargent College, was presented at the Gerontological Society of America(GSA) 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting on Aging Research.

Massachusetts EOEA Certificate Training Initiative (2023)

This executive summary presentation highlights the success of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs (EOEA) partnership with CADER to provide two self-paced, online certificate trainings for professionals serving older adults and person with disabilities in the Commonwealth employed at ASAPs or COAs from February 2023 to June 2023. 256 ASAP learners and 42 COA learners completed a certificate program. Learners gained skills in key competency areas relevant to their practice and provided positive feedback about the training.

New York State Case Management Certificate Training Program (2022)

This report on NY State Office for the Aging (NYSOFA) training in CADER's Case Management Certificate program shares data highlighting how over 100 staff participants from 2021-22. With a 91% completion rate, their staff gained key knowledge and skills applicable to their practice working with diverse aging and disability populations.

The Certificate Initiative in partnership with the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs (EOEA) allowed CADER to provide access to three distinct online, self-paced certificate programs for professionals serving older adults and persons with disabilities in the Commonwealth employed at ASAPs or COAs between August 2021 to June 2022.
