Policies for Learners
This section applies to learners who are not enrolled as part of a state or agency program. If you are participating through a state or agency program, please check with your Training Lead to confirm program details.
Online Course & Certificate Program Completion
All asynchronous learners have one year from their enrollment date to access and complete their online certificate program or course content. We strongly recommend aiming to complete the program within 9 months.
Learners may extend access beyond one year for an additional 60 days by paying a $100 extension fee. Fee waivers may be granted for extenuating circumstances or medical leaves. To request an extension, please contact us by email.
Online Course Credit & Transfers
Learners may swap up to three online courses completed within two years of finishing a certificate program or course. Note that the full rate for the certificate program still applies.
