Description

This course prepares faith leaders and members of faith communities to identify and respond to substance use concerns in older adults. Through real-world stories and interactive activities, learners explore what substance use looks like in the aging population and how substance use impacts older adult health and well-being. By the end of the course, learners will be prepared to have conversations about substance use, will know when and how to make referrals, and will understand the role of faith communities in supporting older adults with substance use concerns.
